Margaret (Peg) Smith passed away on November 22, 2010.
Peg and Freeman Smith along with their sons Roland and Ken opened The Original Beefy King in Orlando on June 22, 1968. Together they built a 42 year legacy serving Orlando a quality product in a friendly and clean atmosphere. Peg and Freeman for years were working with the area schools training and educating hundreds of students that were part of the work release program and seeing them grow and move on to a better life. Beefy King will forever miss their Queen, but it will never forget the memories.
