Each of our sites have inherent potential for disease. Hope takes every precaution to insure that each participant uses only bottled water at every location. However, it is the responsibilty of every volunteer to research the required travel vaccinations to enter the host countries. Most require malaria and typhoid shots. Please visit your local cdc or travel clinic and consult with expert medical personel to insure that you have received all vacinations prior to embarking on your trip. Hope Worldwide recommends that each participant wait until their application has been confirmed to begin the immunization process.
