We hope to inspire our community with the power of music. The Oak Harbor Music Festival brings joy to our guests through the power of music, establishes lasting connections with visitors to our island, strengthens our community, supports local businesses, and provides opportunities that encourage musical expression in our local young people. The Festival's investment in young musicians will impact generations to come.
We conduct all of our business with honesty in our relationships and in stewardship of the Festival. We proactively collaborate with the City of Oak Harbor, Whidbey Health, State Liquor Board, and other agencies as appropriate, including planning and training for our board and volunteers, to support a safe festival for all who attend.
We appreciate that anyone who takes the time to give us feedback is letting us know that we are important to them and to this community, and we address each issue in a manner that honors the intent of the person who brought it to us.We recognize and are grateful for the reasons that the vast majority of our guests continue to support our Festival: love, friendship, family, and community, all inspired by the power of music.
We proactively recognize and encourage engagement with the festival from all corners of our community, from all age groups, diverse cultures, economic backgrounds, and musical genres. We strive for diverse representation on our board, in fund development, and in the performers who appear on our stages.
