Oak Harbor Music Festival

September 4th 5th and 6th 2026

#Music Inspires

The festival is dedicated to hosting a world-class, 3-day event which contributes vibrancy to the local community, brings our island neighbors together, establishes lasting connections with visitors, and encourages the expression of music in local young people.

Our Motivation...

is to provide an inspirational event that brings joy, builds a sense of community, generates revenue for Whidbey Island businesses, and creates musical opportunities for local students by offering scholarships and sponsoring instrument programs designed to provide equal access to music—impacting generations to come.

We Value:

Integrity

We conduct all of our business with honesty in our relationships and in stewardship of the Festival. We recognize that our stakeholders -- our sponsors, donors, volunteers, guests, musicians, vendors, local businesses, and the Oak Harbor community. -- have placed great trust in us, and we strive always to be worthy of that trust.

Community

We recognize and are grateful for the reasons that the vast majority of our guests continue to support our Festival: love, friendship, family, and community, all inspired by the power of music. We believe that music has a unique power to heal, uplift, connect, and make our community stronger.

Respect

We listen and validate all input from our stakeholders, both positive and negative. We appreciate that anyone who takes the time to give us feedback is letting us know that we are important to them and to this community, and we address each issue in a manner that honors the intent of the person who brought it to us.

Inclusivity & Diversity

We proactively recognize and encourage engagement with the festival from all corners of our community, from all age groups, diverse cultures, economic backgrounds, and musical genres. We strive for diverse representation on our board, in fund development, and in the performers who appear on our stages.

Safety

We proactively collaborate with the City of Oak Harbor, Whidbey Health, State Liquor Board, and other agencies as appropriate, including planning and training for our board and volunteers, to support a safe festival for all who attend.
