Brisley Architecture was founded in 1996.  As sole practitioner, my passion is design excellence.  I work on a small number of projects each year, giving each project continuous personal attention.  When combined with high level of expertise achieved through 30 years working with developers, contractors, real estate professionals and owners, this unique combination of personal responsibility and deep experience results in a successful beautiful project.  An owner's direct influence over the project, from schematic design through construction administration and assurance of effective and continuous communication with contractors and subs has always be a virtue of my process style.  I also  offer interior design services for my architectural projects.

My skill as land planner and site designer brings convincing designs and colorful 3D exhibits to neighborhood associations and city governments for a smooth transition  through the planning process.  I have had direct contact and successful outcomes dealing with the DNR, Watershed Districts and County Engineering offices.

I live with my wife, Sandra and our two golden retrievers, Bart and Ellie high up on the bluff above the town of Afton overlooking the magnificent St. Croix River. I work here in my design studio over the garage where I can create art with lots of emotional and technical assistance from Bart and Ellie who are constantly at my feet.  We specialize in Commerical, Retail, Office, Warehouse, Residential, Remodeling and Home Theater Design.
