Yukari
Sushi is family owned and operated since 2004, now extending
to a total of three locations in the heart of three major cities;
Miami, Chicago and Las

Tamaki, the founder of Yukari Sushi,
is a world renowned chef who began her career with Walt Disney as
the leading chef at Kimonos, at The Walt
Disney World Swan Hotel. Tamaki is a native of Tokyo,
Japan, as well as a graduate of the prestigious Culinary
Academy in Tokyo.
She also studied in Italy and France during her tenure at the Academy.
After her graduation in 1998, Tamaki spent five years as an instructor
for the academy, specializing in Chinese, Japanese and French cuisine.
Her specialty is the art of sushi making. Tamaki has been profiled
in every major cuisine periodical and newspaper including Bon
Appetit, The New York Times, and USA
Today.
Her restaurants are permanent fixtures in Zagat’s
Restaurant Guides. Tamaki's blending of classical Japanese
technique with the Pacific Northwest’s wealth of local seafood
and ingredients has, as Zagat says, “set the bar that
others aspire to.” She has catered to Japanese Prime
Ministers, captains of industry, and world renowned artists and
athletes. |
