How Do I Get Heard?
All submissions (whether it's a recorded CD or live performance) are put through an evalutation process with the students of FlatFoot Records. After the submission is approved, producers are assigned and the A&R Department contacts the artist to schedule recording times.

What Other Bands Have You Recorded?
We have recorded many bands in our three years of operation. We have recorded 7 Blue Skies, Aydin, Pretty Ugly and several others. We do not limit ourselves to one gnere. Check out our current artists page to see other bands we are recording and bands we have recorded in total.

How Do I Get a Recording Contract?
Once your Demo is finished, the producers bring it back to the label and the project is once again evaluated by the students of FlatFoot Records. At this time we vote on wheter or not to bring the artist back to record a full length album and offer them an official recording contract. The contract includes graphics help with your CD art, promotions, artist managment and many other perks! If, for whatever reason, either FlatFoot doesn't
extent a contract offer or the artist chooses not to stay with us, YOUR DEMO IS YOUR'S TO KEEP FOR FREE!! We release Sound Recording rights and files to the artist.

Wanna Play?
Your first experience with FlatFoot Records will be recording a six song Demo (EP) of your original material, even if you don't have a band. We have acess to a number of musicians through Valenica Commnunity College's many music ensembles including the Commercial Music Ensemble with guitarists, drummers and singers.

What Equipment Do You Use?
FlatFoot Records is a student run record label at Valencia Community College. Because the recording and mixing processes at FlatFoot are educational experiences for the students there is no charge for studio time and no rental fees for use of our equipment or microphones. All of our studios are equipped with professional equipment including ProTools systems and gear from Avalon, Lexicon, Soundcraft and many others. We use Neuman, Sennhesier, Earthworks and AKG microphones to name a few!
