About WAA

We are a non-profit organization founded in 1990. We are a division of UNICEF, with licensences in over 100 countries. We recognize the right of every child to have a loving, life-long family. At WAA we believe that adoption is a life-long process. We provide supportive services before, during and after placement.

WAA offers personalized and professional services. Our goal is to promote appreciation of the cultural and ethnic heritage of each child. We continue in our efforts to offer ongoing educational, cultural and social opportunities and maintain humanitarian relief projects overseas. Our mission is to coordinate international adoptions of legally adoptable orphans and abandoned children by providing eligible clients with courteous, swift attention.

Through adherence to our three core values: emotional support, integrity and accountability, our staff aims to make the transition of uniting families an experience that will be remembered for our kindness and sensitivity.
